Community Planting at Leighton Beach

Join the Leighton Beach Community Planting Day and help us restore the coastal dunes with a variety of native species.
Starting from the grassy area across from The Orange Box Café, the morning will include planting within the dunes from the north of the Fremantle Surf Life Saving Club. Refreshments and a light lunch will be provided.
To bring: Enclosed shoes, long pants, hat, water bottle, gloves (we will have spares as a back-up) and sun protection. Wet weather gear advised if rain is forecasted.

• Appropriate physical distancing (4m2/person) – managing team size, activity planning • Maintaining good hygiene – clean and assign tools and PPE, make hand washing and sanitation available • A set of guidelines to be sent to volunteers prior to event – when to stay home, transportation to site, when you arrive.
