Exploring native trees in your forest

The event will take place in Jerash forest at Sakib area on June 5th.2021 at 10am-5pm. A 2.5 km ( 5 km total for two ways) hiking trail in the forest to identify all the native tree plants. The event is open to public and the invitation will be posted on our Facebook page. , a group of youth from sakib local community will work alongside with WADIs' team to mange the event. Before conducting the event ,we will host a specialized botanical expert to train this group , to assure their capacity to give an accurate description of the trees in the forest and answer the following points : The plant scientific and local name, native or invasive? Evergreen or deciduous? plant status according to the red list, Gathering seeds, propagation methods, sowing season, etc..
