INVASIVE SPECIES CONTROL PROGRAM AT NAIROBI NATIONAL PARK

we are pulling out Parthenium hysterophorous, Solanum incanum, and other invasive species from Nairobi National Park. the event normally takes place on Fridays every week but for this week it is scheduled to take place on 5th June.
parthenium is a quick-spreading invasive species that is easy to uproot at its young stage before it matures to produce seeds. we are doing this to protect the future of the park.
please note that this is a scientific method of approach because the pulled-out parthenium is weighed up for record-keeping and analysis. we have so far collected over 700 kilograms of parthenium from the park's ecosystem.
