The Land Conservancy’s Passport to Plant Pressing

TLC's Passport to Nature Program was designed to connect TLC members, donors, and the public with nature. The program has been a guide for engaging in environmental education and engagement for the last two years. To ensure the safety of our members and volunteers, this year we have re-designed the Passport to Nature to include virtual workshops and tutorials throughout the year to get nature-lovers outside without needing to gather in one place. During Make a Difference week, you can participate in our Plant Pressing event, and sign up for our other FREE events throughout the year! Visit http://conservancy.bc.ca/get-involved/passport-to-nature/ for full program details!

Passport to Plant Pressing: June 11th 2021.

Registration Required

Not just for botanists! A plant press is an essential tool for the preservation of plant species and dates back to the early 1500’s. Pressing plants is a beautiful and fun activity that can be applied to many projects. We will show you how to prepare and arrange plants for pressing as well as some fun ways you can use your pressed plants for crafts and décor.

Please register for the virtual Passport to Nature events you are interested in to ensure you are provided with direct links to videos when they become available!
