European Green Crab monitoring

Esquimalt Lagoon Stewardship Initiative (ELSI) volunteers will be monitoring the lagoon for invasive European Green Crabs, with support from the Department of Fisheries and Oceans. Volunteers will place 12 traps and retrieve them 24 hours later to check for invasive crabs and record overall crab diversity.
