In 2019, the Clark Fork Coalition and Geum teamed up on a streambank and floodplain restoration project in Upper Miller Creek. The restoration project included placement of wood in the channel to improve aquatic habitat, re-building streambanks with brush and willows to reduce erosion and provide over-hanging cover for fish, and reconnecting floodplains through floodplain lowering and side channel construction. This event will visit the restoration site to implement any maintenance work that might be needed. Expected tasks include: minor fence repairs, hand-pulling of noxious weeds, trimming willow cuttings, and repairs of floodplain erosion.
