Soos Creek Volunteer Event with SER and King County Parks

Gary Grant Soos Creek is a natural area that features a gentle grade in a natural setting suitable for leisurely strolls bicycle rides and horse rides. Restoration on the site is ongoing. Meeting location is at the parking lot south of Gary Grant. Keep an eye out for the King County Volunteer signs.

We want to keep everyone safe. Please to not attend the event if you have been experiencing any of the following symptoms: Cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fever, chills, shaking with chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, new loss of smell or taste or if anyone in your household is suspected or diagnosed with COVID-19 Please register in advance If you signed up for a project and no longer plan to attend, please communicate with your group leader and/or our Volunteer Program staff: parksvolunteer@kingcounty.gov. We will open the event registration to others that can attend. Bring your own cloth mask and wear it during the event (we extra have disposable masks on site) Bring your own work gloves Bring your own water bottle. We will not have any snacks or drinking water available Do not expect restrooms to be open. Many sites have port-a-potties available. Only a limited number of restrooms are open.
